This little Australian native is truly our very own super-berry! Muntries are small green-to-purple berries that grow on a hardy groundcover found across western Victoria and South Australia. Traditionally eaten fresh, turned into jams and chutneys or dried for times when food was scarce, Muntries have long been an important food source for First Nations people — and were even traded between clans.

Provenance

Kaiyu Superfoods grows their own Muntries on their farm in Waikerie, SA, and also sources Muntries from a First Nations owned business in South Australia. All berries are freeze-dried, powdered and packaged by Kaiyu Superfoods in their own processing shed.
