Empowering Remote Communities
At Native Oz Bushfoods, we believe in sustainable innovation that not only preserves our rich Aboriginal heritage but also fosters community empowerment. Our collaboration with University of Queensland Long Pocket embodies this commitment through a pioneering Smart Farm initiative.

Preserving Tradition, Enhancing Sustainability
Solar Dryer from India
Our Smart Farm project features a solar dryer imported from India, blending traditional knowledge with modern technology.
This solar dryer efficiently preserves native Australian fruits and herbs, ensuring optimal quality while minimizing environmental impact. By harnessing solar power, we reduce reliance on conventional energy sources, making our operations sustainable and eco-friendly.

Our most recent setback was a result of a ferocious storm mid October 2024 with winds clocked at 54kph on our monitor and 65kph according to BOM Weather.
This storm resulted in two panels being damaged and without the ability to re-purchase the required sizing for the dehydrator within Australia a temporary "fixer-uppa" has been placed to ensure no further damage to the remaining panels
We are hoping for a solution to get this up and going as soon as possible to further allow support for remote communities.
